Okay, my absence from the computer has made me reconsider this livejournal thing. I think am either going to stop updating this journal and use it as a reader-only journal, or i am going to actually use one of the cool usernames i'm squatting on and start a new journal. This is also just me pondering, so nothing is finalized in my mind yet. I will keep this journal up to date with any changes if anything drastic happens.

Ok, i'm just going on the record here to say that Super Milk Chan is one of the weirdest cartoons i've ever seen. I mean, yeah, it on Adult Swim and yeah, its from Japan. But still. Maybe i'm just blown out from watching too much Sealab and ATHF.

Going to have another recording session tomorrow, or at least try to.
That should mean another 3 to 4 songs uploaded by tuesday.
And now i have nothing more to write except the inane banter of everyday life.
Wood-destruction and storing, bill-paying and food-purchasement(human and otherwise), and now a stupor induced by too much soda and chips.
ugh...

Hey, i just uploaded 3 songs onto purevolume
Go listen to them now.
I'm so happy that i didn't have to do the uploading from home, because that would have taken a lot of time and i'm sure a few things thrown at the computer screen when the computer decides it doesn't like the type of music i'm uploading and drop the connection when i'm at 98% finished.
I'm thinking maybe the computer is more into cool jazz and drum 'n' bass.
But that is just conjecture.
Anyways.

Well, we had a good thanksgiving at tim and kathy's house after the trip up their hellish driveway.
We ate the brown food and pie. And then the triptophan took effect.
All in all a successful outing.
But the entire time, i had this mantra of guilt in my mind from this PETA pamphlet i found at CR on tuesday.(edit: this is sarcasm)
It may be the best found paper in a while, for me at least.
"Turkeys have wide range of personalities and tastes....but on factory farms, they are never allowed to do anything they enjoy."
Turkeys would have hobbies? If we let them?
"Millions of people become sick and thousands die each year from eating contaminated flesh"
and

I just finished recording a new song that i wrote today.
I got inspired by some random band i found on purevolume, i ripped off the intro part to one of their songs and then just elaborated on that.
Don't tell anyone though.
I recorded the guitar and bass tracks through my amp and directly into the recorder and then went to the trailer to record drums.
I couldn't get the drums to sound right, it sounds as if they were recorded in a garbage can, which they were.
I mixed everything and came up here to add some keys through fruityloops. Now i'm sitting here listening to it.
I'm glad to have my recorder back.

Well, my weekend was mostly well-mannered and passed as follows.
We went to go see Spongebob on friday. I don't care how childish it is, i haven't laughed that hard in quite a while.
Me and ejbythesea went to camel rock on saturday. I got tired and cold real quick as the water was more frigid than usual and there was a stupid current who's intent seemed to be to push me into some rocks, i wasn't interested.
I have been home all day today. sarahshevett was up at a fellow goat personage's place all day, doing goat dealings. Sean came over and dropped off my recorder that had been living at john's house. We concurred that recording for some demos and the purevolume site was in order.
But john isn't going to be back till thursday and then probably not any practice or band get together till next sunday or later.

Sitting here, wandering through cyberspace, drinking coffee and listening to unknown music.
I still have to turn my head sideways to read emoticons

I do love this inter-web.
The fact that i can find any information i want, almost instantaneously, and that i can read people's journals that i wouldn't even have had contact with otherwise and that i am able to search through thousands of bands on purevolume and find a gem like this with a random search.
I will continue listening to this song till i get sick of it.

pure volume just ate a bio for the band that i just spent 15 minutes typing. The servers had to go down or be unoperational exactly when i went to update it.
